Bakayoko said that the increasing number of African gaming products for handheld devices mirrored the explosion of mobile banking and financial tools like Kenya’s Mpesa on the continent in recent years.
But Google’s decision in June to allow games developers from African countries including Nigeria, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Tanzania to make money from their creations sold on its Play store could revolutionise the sector.
“We define that shift to hybrid work as really being flexibility in how, when and where you work. That’s really the pattern that we’re seeing develop all across the world as people are starting to experiment,” said Jared Spataro, corporate vice president for Microsoft 365 software.

Gaming has received a boost since the beginning of the pandemic as over half of gamers in North America and Western Europe spent more time gaming, according to a report by gaming analysis firm Newzoo.
However, the unannounced update could possibly be related to the numerous server crashes reported by players following the release of patch 5.21 on August 15.

Google got my attention by bragging about the ‘s “pro-level zoom” and asserting that the smartphone’s photography features can challenge traditional cameras.
